Available Teaching Positions

Sparkle and Sass Dance Company is currently hiring energetic and enthusiastic dance instructors to join our fun and family-friendly dance studio. You will be responsible for teaching and leading a dynamic group of students in a range of ages, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals in their chosen area of dance.

We are not currently hiring, but would be happy to keep your resume on hand for when a position opens up.

If you love dance and enjoy working with children of all ages, we encourage you to apply. Proven experience as a dance instructor in your respective style is strongly desired. Preference will be given to an instructor who can teach multiple styles.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their dance goals.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement throughout each session.
• Choreograph routines and select music for annual performances.
• Conduct group and private lessons as needed.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.
• Ability to communicate with families and students in a positive and constructive way.
• Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous dance training required.
• Previous teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• FUN, energetic, driven, creative, punctual, and dependable.
• Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.

Pay: Negotiable based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday evenings
• Weekend availability
