Picture Day
All classes will have group photos taken in their recital costume. Each family also has the option to purchase individual photos of their dancers.

Photo Day is April 18 and April 19 at Sparkle and Sass Dance Company in La Plata.

All dancers are requested to attend photo day, even if you are not purchasing any photos. That way, the group photos include the entire class.

Each class has been assigned a minute time slot during which a group photo and any individual photos will be taken.
HOW WILL IT WORK?:
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled time so that your dancer has time to change into their costume. Hair and any makeup should be completed before you arrive. Once at the studio, please check in at the front desk so we can get your costumes for you. Once all dancers are ready, one of our teachers will gather your dancer and take them into the photo studio while you fill out a Photo Form for your dancer. After the class group photo, each dancer will have their individual photo taken in each costume. After photos have been taken, families may immediately view their photo options in the viewing box located in the lobby. Photography staff will be on-site to help with viewing photos, selecting packages, and taking orders. After your pictures are done, please return your costume to the front desk and you are free to enjoy the rest of your day!
HOW DO I PURCHASE PHOTOS?:
Photography staff will be on-site to assist with photo purchases. They would prefer for each family to purchase their photos before they leave the studio. They will have a viewing box there so you can see the photos as soon as they are taken and preview them before you buy. If you wish to wait to purchase after picture day, there will be an option to do so online.
DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE PHOTOS?:
No, photo purchases are optional. However, it's important for all dancers to be present on Picture Day so that their entire class can be photographed together.
COSTUMES:
We will have costumes available on-site for your photo session! After the photos are taken, we will collect them for safekeeping to ensure they stay in perfect condition until our Showcase performance in June.
SHOES/HAIR/MAKEUP:
Your teachers will provide specific hair and shoe requirements as Picture Day approaches. In the meantime, please see your teacher or the front desk with any footwear questions.
Makeup is entirely optional. While our dancers are beautiful naturally, those who wish to wear makeup should stick to light applications on the eyes and lips. We want our dancers to feel confident and have fun dressing up!
